The Instagram Account You Should be Following Already : BAKENEKO NAILS

Bakeneko Nails is the creation of LA-based nail artist extraordinaire Kelly McPherson. She takes nail art to a whole other dimension with her abstract designs, geometric patterns, and intricate drawings. I'm obsessed with her use of Bio Sculpture Gel, which is a powdered gel that breathes and has a thick consistency. This honey-like texture makes the gel thick and you can sculpt. It does giving your nails this amazing multi-dimensional, glossy effect.

   
McPherson also only does natural nails, which I personally love since I am not a fan of acrylics whatsoever but LOVE nail art. Usually manicurists steer away from doing intricate designs on natural nails so Bakeneko stands out to me for that reason too. Her use and experiments of different textures and techniques while incorporating abnormal materials such as leaves, metal, plastic and more.
