There is always something so elegant yet raw and gritty about Rih Rih's style and persona, which she has evolved into beautifully and genuinely over the years. 

This cover & editorial are not only a great examples of Carine Riotfeld's fashion genuiusness but also a perfect portrait of the music industry's rebellious and glamorous Princess of R&B. But instead of "let them eat cake" being her mantra, we have a feeling Rihanna's would be more along the lines of something like this:

"Let them eat cake smoke weed!"
