Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 Collection

Just another addition to my Marc obsession...his Resort 2013 collection! If this is isn't the best forcast of what we can expect trend wise starting the end of Fall 2012, then I am excited to see someone prove me wrong. This season the Marc Jacobs team took risks, and damn did they pay off. This fabulous accumulation of "Boldness, gaudiness, butterflies, and deli carnations" was executed through different proportioned pieces, plaids and polkadots thrown together, stripes adorned with sequins against bold bright hues, bright colored lace over even brighter colored silk organza, not to mention the killer platform sandals with MJ's signature oversized hardware and bobbles...the man and the legend KILLED it! I am obsessed with so many aspects of this collection. It's kind of ridiculous how on point his designs are and how effortlessly chic they are every time, not missing out on any form of consistency whatsoever. Overall this collection ties together many forms of detail oriented designs which exudes all the reasons I love Marc Jacobs. He is a visionary!!!
