Coachella 2016: Style Review

Coachella 2016

The Maxximalist was lucky enough to snag wristbands for Weekend One of this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

This is the hottest ticket of the year for fashion and music lovers alike from across the globe and I am so excited to share my experience and coverage with you guys. I was unfortunately dealt the bad luck card leaving for Coachella by not realizing I had left my phone behind in San Francisco until we were at least an hour or so away. Can anyone say, #ULTIMATEFAIL? The upside to all of this was that I had my iPad mini with me, which has full wireless service (so it's basically a super-sized iPhone) and the amazing friends I stayed and went with were all nice enough to let me use their phones to take pictures and videos throughout the weekend. Even better, we all decided to share our photos and videos with the whole group via an iCloud shared photo album (never have used this before with multiple people...But I must say this is a game-changer when it comes to sharing pictures within a group...e-mail & attached files are so outdated!)

I also was mindful enough to not party too hard (but, hey it is Coachella after all... ;) ) & make this blog a priority while attending and covering the festival. I obviously paid attention the fashion and styles that were displayed by the majority of festival-goers during all three days..and, wow, do I have some great reviews and style / trend predictions for you guys!

Also we must NOT forget about the music and art, which Coachella would not exist without. I have some great reviews on the bands and performers acts' that I caught over the weekend. These reviews are based on my personal opinions and experiences and may be biased since I'm not a professional music critic but I am a semi-professional lover of good music and live performances.  I'll try to be as objective as possible.
