The IT Item for your Fall 2015 Wardrobe

Introducing you all to one of my favorite dress silhouettes of all time: the folk dress. It is a vintage fashionista's wardrobe staple and the best day dress choice for your Fall 2015 wardrobe.

The fun and ditzy prints of the 70s that these dresses come in, as well as their folky silhouettes, create serious boho babe chic vibes. Also this 70s craze is only a sign of whats to come in trends for Winter and Spring 2016. 

Here are three of my favorite ways to style the Folk Dress:

one) WEAR WITH 70s STYLE BOOTS & ACCESSORIES

Wear this dress to its full vintage potential by pairing it with mid calf (or higher) boots in a contrasting colored leather or animal print. 

Add some statement dangling 

earrings to complete the vintage look. If you want to add a modern touch, add an embellished mini-cross 

body bag. SO SIMPLE!

two) TOP IT OFF WITH AN EMBROIDERED KNIT SWEATER 

For a cozy, folk inspired look, layer a floral embroidered knit sweater with a ribbed turtleneck over your folk dress. Make it a modern look with fishnet ankle socks and creeper flats.

three)PAIR WITH A SHEARLING COAT or JACKET 

Channel Penny Lane while topping your folk dress for colder 

Fall days with a shearling fur and suede coat/jacket. Oversized

 styles are the preferred silhouette. Layer dress with a high-neck white 

knit tip under and sporty high-tops to bring it back to 2015.
