TOO EXCITED FOR WORDS: Launch of Pearl by Georgina Chapman for JCPenny
Never EVER have I shopped at JCPenny, but hey this new collaboration will make me end that avoidance. Ron Johnson, you may be winning back some customers and adding more young fashionistas to your roster (including little 'ol me). How will this be accomplished you wonder? With the help of the impeccable designer Georgina Chapman, of course! If you are not familiar with her accomplishments in the fashion world here's a quick little summary: She makes up half of the designer and CEO roles for the British high-end women's wear label Marchesa along side Keren Craig and these designers are respected for their talent in draping and embroidery. But this brand is quite expensive, not even I have the balls to drop that much on a dress.
But that's all about to change thanks to the launch of the high anticipated private line: Pearl by Georgina Chapman for JC Penny.
